Wire Wheel Question

Good Morning,

I'm looking at a set of used, but in decent shape, wire wheels, adapter
hubs etc...   

- Are there any known problems with going from steel wheels to wires?  I
have a 78 Spit.  Does going this way cause problems for the car?
