I could also link a couple of photo like these from last summer...
so during the winter I removed front springs, and I measured 20-30mm
longer unloaded lengths on both as specified. I thought that was the
problem and I went to a spring specialist to reduce the lengths by
compressing (not cutting) springs with a special procedure. The guy told
me that springs would be little weaker, but 1" was not too much. So I
got the "new" springs, I powder coated and assembled with shocks. and I
was really shocked!! Springs were bent again. The end plates were not
perpendicular with the shocks. so I removed again the shocks and I found
that a possible cause may be that the rubber bushes at the top of the
shock are not filling the gap between the end plate washer and the shock
stud. so I bought different shape bushes which have a moulded end and
when they are compressed they enter in the gap and filling it so the end
plate has less possibility to be not perpendicular to the shock.
After reassembly it was much better, but not perfect. so my latest
theory is, which was one of the first, that my springs must be too old,
worn and loose, so when compressed they are not strong enough to hold
themselves in a straight line.

Subject: Bent Spring? Photos...
Hi List'ees...
Before I go and get all my wheel alignment checked, the front right
spring needs attention.
The photos speak for themselves....

I fitted the springs and shocks last August. Im pretty sure the springs
were on the shocks straight when I put them on...
So me it seems almost like either a wishbone or the shock tower (name?)
is bent in some way.
The top plate of the the shock is flush to the tower...
