I'm converting a MK IV wiring harness to a 1500 car, and need to know about
the connections on the back of an electronic/electric tachometer.
There is a flat spade (Lucar) connector - I assume it gets +12V.
There is a round (bullet) connector - I assume it comes from the coil -
terminal.
There is a small flat earth connector on the casing - obviously earth - but
wonder why when the casing is earthed via a black wire connected to the
mounting bolts. Insurance?
Can anyone confirm these connections?
