Horn relays are meant for high current, short duration. Fast reacting, but
minimal contact area. The coils will burn out if used at full rating for
anything more than short bursts. For an OD setup, you want something that
can supply heavier current constantly for hours at a time. In this
situation, look for relays meant for headlights, fog/driving lights, or
even the air conditioning circuit. The lights are closer matched to what
you are looking for though.
