I had the same problem.
My fix was to get a cheap socket that fit inside the yoke, put a piece of
2x4 under the yoke and beat the shit out of the socket.
Plainly put, I hope it works for you.

OK, I am long past patience! I replaced u-joints on the half shafts way
back
long time ago, not easy, but I got it done. I am now attempting to do the
same on the driveshaft. I have tried everything! I have tapped on the
yokes, I have pressed them partially out in the vice, I have soaked them in
WD40. They won't move! Time to grind or torch them out? Somebody give me
a
grain of hope!
