I used petroleum jelly and wheel bearing grease most of the time, I just
bought a product from Advance Auto for greasing break shoe to plate rub
areas. I like this new stuff a lot and will be using it because it is water
proof. I used it along with some graphite assembly lube to rebuild a spit
rear spring.
