Had this idea the other night.
The one thing I worry about the most is parking my car unattended. Even
before the restoration stuff started.
Now my thoughts turn the the future and how I can secure my GT6 if I have to
park it somewhere.
1. The club.
2. Battery kill switch/key.
3. An independently powered alarm system.
Yes you read that right.
I was looking for some stuff last night when I found my motorcycle battery I
used when I flew RC planes.
Its a 12v and very compact.
I figure I could make a box and mount that up somewhere in the car with
connectors if I ever have to charge it.
Hook an alarm system to that with 2-3 sensors.
A mercury level for the bonnet, a radar inside and maybe a shock sensor over
all. Then for the sound maker, I would opt for the horns. A little bit more
wiring, but at least you would know the sound of your Triumphs horn(s) over
a normal alarm.
Just a thought.
