When I got my factory hardtop, I just got a pair of eyebolts, but the eye
below the collar on the roof and pointed the threads up, ran a horizontal bolt
through the eye into the soft top mount. Then I cut the eye bolt down to length
to secure the top with a washer and double nutted it so it wouldn't rattle
loose.
it's worked for many years
