Sounds like you had a great day.

Shame we couldn't get there this year but we've had a very busy season and
with preparations for the RBR next week thought it better not to stray too
far from home so went to a rather smaller auto/aero meet at Popham Airfield.
Not quite such a long list of Triumphs there - our Bond Equipe, Bob McDay's
Vitesse, and a Spitfire in the visitor's car park with its lights left on!
(hope the owner remembered in time!) I believe there were a few other
Triumphs dotted around the field but I haven't been too well lately so spent
a lovely relaxing day lying in the sun regaining my strength for next week.

Various small planes flew in & out during the day including microlights and
bi-planes and I was rather tempted by a Tiger Cub for sale - a bargain at
#1250 - but figured we have enough problems with a dozen or so MoTs each
year without getting into the problems of airworthiness certificates!

With luck though we will put Duxford on the calendar for next year - no RBR
to worry about then!

Suzie
