Hi Keith, and thanks to all who replied Re: cork gaskets
The item in question is not the rubber ring that seperates the glass from the 
front piece, that I can get easily from bits I already have....... what i 
need is the cork gasket that I have found wedged in the front chrome piece., 
it is circular,going all the way round the chrome front. I also found the 
same cork gasket in another speedo from a MK IV. The cork had solidified so 
it was pretty useless which is why I need some more. Am I right in thinking 
that the chrome piece is called a "bezel" ?
