I have just bought a 1979 spitfire 1500 and I am in the process of
reconditioning it. One of the things I am unsure about is the cooling
fan. It does not come on and the radiator steams. I have not operated
the car yet only ran the engine to see if everything works, it has been
setting for over 5 years.
Is the a method of testing the thermostat switch or should I just get a
new one. Thanks
