Speed Channel

I was watching Speed Channel and saw a promo for the channel that shows a hood 
(bonnet) of a car painted black with a red stripe down the center. 
There is a rib that extends from the rear of the piece and ends in a point 
almost at the front.  I swear this is the bonnet of an early Spitfire.

Anyone else see this?  Am I dreaming?
