Anyone have any idea just how much money is added to the base price of any new
car just to cover warranty if car car fails for any reason ?? And as far as
the charge back to the new car dept for any maintence it never happens, and
the mechaics can do 95% of all warranty work in 1/4 of the factory allotted
time, I worked for new car dealers for over 25 years. The answer to the above
question on added price, Chrylser & Ford in the early 80's was $2500.00 built
