Do you mean 'door' mirror? The door mirrors on the Mk IV and 1500s are held
in place by a small grub screw (Allen head) which is hidden from view.
This clamps the mirror to a bracket that is screwed to the door skin. If
the mirror is loose then it should be a simple tightening job to sort
out...but if the seller hasn't figured this out then I would try and deduct
the cost of a new mirror from the asking price!
