Boot polish does indeed restore the colour to black bumpers - not only
have I tried it with great success, I saw the tip on a telly programme
called "Professional Secrets" - so it must be true! The "professional"
who was telling all the secrets on this particular programme was a
chauffeur. I used it to tart up the faded bumpers on a Citroen ZX, and
reckon that that was the reason I sold the car so easily; the bumpers
looked like new.
