Installed the points, cap, rotor, wires and plugs. The severe miss is gone.
It accelerates decent under normal conditions. However under harder accell it
seems to hesitate, or kinda flat spot. Well really it is more like it just
raps up real sluggish. If I take my foot off full throttle a bit it seems to
lurch a bit quicker for a split second.
That and the exhaust manifold was glowing when I got back home.
It simply feels like it has more. I am off tomorrow, I am going to tinker
some more.
By the way, what is the proper timing setting for this thing and should I set
it vacuum off or on? My manual has not come in yet. I have been using a TR7
manual and the VTR site for carb help.
