Anyone tried TR7 or TR8 wheels on a Spitfire

I have a set of TR8 alloys sitting in my shed and was thinking of having them
refinished and put them on my Spit.  I was told that they have the same bolt
pattern, is this true??  Has anyone tried it??  If so, does anyone have
pictures??
