I second all of Nolans points, as a racer with 21yrs experience I've tried
both. Silicone simply doesn't give what I consider to be good enough pedal
feel. (And no my brakelines weren't old rubber ones, they were braided
stainless). If you need more proof, pick up a copy of one of the bibles of
car preparation " Prepare To Win" by Carroll Smith, he says just about the
same things as Nolan did and reaches the same conclusions.
