Re: wheel bearings AND u-joints

A good check for blown halfshaft U-joints is to coast
in neutral at about 20-25 MPH, and do gentle S-turns from side to side.
Listen for clunking and rumbling that changes as you turn (as the
loading on each joint is varied).
