Some time in the last couple of weeks, someone inquired
about a single hoop roll-bar for their Spitfire. If they
were looking for it to go racing, they should check out
the SCCA GCR and the latest updates from FastTrack. This
type of roll-bar is not legal for road racing on new cars.
It may be grand-fathered, but I think that even old cars
are going to be required to have a full bar in the future.
If they were looking for it for road only, as Emily would
say, 'Never mind'. Of course, if it is for road use, you
must not care much for your co-driver. ;)
