rear gearbox oil seal

Spitlisters:
        Is there a quick and easy way to stop a
VERY small leak at the rear gearbox oil seal. It
doesn't leak very much,only after about a 8-10 mile
drive and then it drips a small drip onto the
exhaust pipe. Vaporized oil is pretty stinky!!!
