A lap-top computer carrying-case makes a nice onboard tool kit - nicely padded & generally with a few extra side pockets, etc. A bit pricey over-the-counter, but when your company (or, in my case, my son-in-law's company) upgrades to new lap-tops, the bags for the old ones are generally put up for grabs.
