The reason Webers aren't allowed in Prepared is because they are not allowed in club racing due to performance potential and maintaining balance between the 40 or so cars classed in F-prod. The original goal of Prepared was to bring club racers over to autox, so they wrote most of the rules around that. As Street prepared moved along, carb swaps became quite common, so the rules were written as, i think it states "fuel delivery is open" or some ridiculus term like that. |
