You guy's are all too hard on the Stromberg's. A friend of mine and
myself did a rebuild last night. Was really pretty simple.
The only thing I ever thought about throwing from my car is the old
style Oil filter canister from my TR6. I would have thrown it, but it
does not fit out of the car with out removing the steering column.
Replaced it with a spin off adapter. Problem solved. I could now throw
it, but I would more than likely cause damage to another vehicle in my
driveway.
