Something that I used to do in scale model car work was to polish the
plastic windscreens in the kits with toothpaste. It's about as mild as
you could ask for and would buff out the minor scratches in the
plastic. It should work as well for our vinyl windows also, I'd
think. Of course if there are specialized products available, go for
those, but if you have nothing else to lose, why not try?
