I certainly appreciate all the responses and info
regarding my upcoming street performance engine rebuild.
I would appreciate any additional input regarding the rebuild
based on the following plan:

1. Add a lightened flywheel from PRI
2. Bore and install new piston,.rings, and all new bearings.
3.Lighten and balance the entire rotating assembly.
4. Port and polish the head and install new valves,
valve seats, guides, dual springs, and a 3 angle valve
job. Top it off with roller rockers.
5. Install a Mk 3 cam and bearings from Elgin Cams - whatever they
recommend for power from 1000-4000 RPM.
6. Enlarge the oil gallery to the center crank journal
as recommended and install a high volume oil pump.
7. Do away with the dual exhausts.
8. Re-install the twin HS-4's, header, and electronic ignition.

Should I make the thrust washer modification to add them
to the bearing cap? Enlarge any more oil galleries? Suggestions
and opinions wanted. Thanks!
Larry
