I recently used U-haul for this type of trailer for my Spit and had no
problem with clearance.

Hi all - I hope nobody minds too much that I drop in and out of the list
when I have a question - I just can't keep up on all the lists I used to
belong to, so now I cycle through.

Anyway, I'm moving from Southern California to Southeast Arizona soon.
It will be inconvenient to drive the spitfire there, so intend to
trailer it. I intend to rent a U-Haul van and trailer (the full size
kind to get all four wheels off the ground). Does anybody know for sure
if I can just drive the spit up the trailer? I'm worried about ground
clearance and short ramps. Any comments would be appreciated.

Regards,

Mark Gardner
