I am considering purchasing a new ignition and a trunk replacement lock for my MK2, but I can't figure out how the old ones come out other than with a 10 mm drill bit. I am worried that the drill bit will not work so well to get the new ones back in. The car came with no keys and it turns out my tool box key will operate the ignition but no such "lock" on the trunk. Does anyone have any suggestions other than going to a locksmith.
