Yes! In Italy, a friend of mine had a Mini (LHD) and it was a blast! We once 
got 8 normal sized adults into it! (Of course, about 3 blocks from the pub the 
Carabinieri pulled us over and made half of us get out. 20 miles from home. 2 
am. Fortunately, we were on our way to the pub and not from.)
