I know a person in Michigan who put Miata seats into his '79 Spit.  He has a 
site with pictures, etc. detailing the whole operation.  I left his card at 
the office, so it will have to be tomorrow before I can get it.  I'll post it 
then.  I've seen them in the car; very clean looking, & the speakers in the 
headrest(s) are a great addition.  It didn't really raise the seat height, 
but it did affect fore & aft movement a bit.  Very comfortable!
