I just purchased a new Grant Steering wheel for my Spit, the install kit is on order... Problem, I can't get the old one off. I removed the horn button, retaining nut, and small metal inset (used to hold horn button in place I think) and I cannot get the damn wheel to come off. I have been soaking it in penetrating oil for about 2 weeks now, even with a large gear puller I can't get it to budge. Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jason 1963 Spit Mk1 |
