My headliner is loose at the front, so I was thinking before I fix it back to 
epoxy something that I could mount a console onto directly onto the roof just 
clear of the headliner so that it would only need a couple of screws and a slit 
for the wire to come through that would be covered by the console. Sort of 
explains my thinking in my other email.

This would be tricky, since you would have to attach some
sort of mounting bracket above the headliner to hold it,
in such a way that the headliner doesn't get funny-looking.

But it would definitely make the car less of a pain to drive at night!
