I would jack the car up nice and high (make sure you use good jack stands
for this, safety first you know) and let it get good and cold. Start the
car and quickly feel around the exhaust pipe, starting closer to the engine,
to see where the leak is coming from. You should feel air coming out of the
pipe from somewhere using this method. If you can't find it the first time
just let the car cool off and try again.
You might also try using some kind of spray bottle mist (maybe water or hair
spray...something with a fine mist that is visible). When it goes in front
of the leak you should see the mist move all in one direction in a hurry.
