According to the Portland Oregon newspaper today:

Scott Ostler of the San Francisco Chronicle has determined that Moses
rode an old British motorcycle, as evidenced by a Bible passage declaring
that "the roar of Moses' Triumph is heard in the hills".

I'd like to humbly suggest that it was really a Spit, driven on some old
back roads in the hills.
