Speed Cable on OD trans

I recently installed an OD trans in my '78 Spit.  I purchase the speedo
cable listed for my car with OD.  How do I attach the end to the trans.  It
looks like I need a right angle connector or something.  If I try to attach
the cable directly I am sure to kink it.  Any ideas?
