I have a '76 Spitfire that keeps making this sound like a muffled explosion at irregular intervals while idling. After listening in various places in the engine bay, I'm pretty sure it's the viscous-coupled fan. It's really annoying. Is there something wrong with it, and if so, how do I fix it? |
