Jeff, Please don't blame the dot5, blame the mechanic!!
I've had dot5 in my Spit for 8 years now, have never 
added a drop to this day. It stops on a dime at the end
of the autocross and the drag strips!! And it won't act
like paint remover if you do get a leak sometime. 
 You will learn to love it as I have.  Bill
