Oil findings

Listers,
A couple of things I found that might be of interest:
1. A Miata magazine survey says cars that used synthetic oil since day one
developed leaks a lot sooner that cars that used "regular" oil
2. A Triumph service bulletin I read last night said that they found the
cause of some main seal leaks. Excess pressure created by a clogged PCV
system can blow oil past the seal.
