Frane, sounds like the clutch might need bleeding to me.  Or failing that,
rebuilding.  But I'd try bleeding first.

Does anyone know if the height of the Spit clutch can be adjusted? how is it
done. Haynes manual does not mention it at all.
Mine requires pushing the pedal right down to the floor and even then the
clutch does not disengage completely.
