(I sent this out during VTR2000, so probably many people did not see it...) Hello, Is it practical to replace valve guides at home, or is this a job that I would be better off having a machine shop do? Would I need a special tool, or would I able to make a useable puller tool from threaded rod, some nuts, and a bit of steel plate? Also, the head I am working on does not seem to have valve seat inserts. Does anyone know when Triumph started using them? Thanks, Doug Braun |
