After much deliberation I've decided to sell my '74 Spitfire project
car. Some of you will remember the (now defunct) web site I had
documenting the complete "frame off" restoration of this car, for those
unfamiliar here are some details.
It's a '74, it's been disassembled, blasted to metal and completely
rebuilt using only the best parts available. The car is absolutely
immaculate, about 80% complete, and includes most parts needed for
completion. (Includes lots of spares as well.) All body prep is
complete, car is in primer, jambs and "underneaths" painted (Ford Royal
Blue Metallic), drivetrain is installed. Literally thousands of hours
of work in the car, the level of detailing is without compare. (Listers
Patrick Bowen and Paul Beiderwell know this car quite well and can
attest to the quality of the work that's been done...)
I'm in the process of putting some pics back on the web and will advise
of the URL when it's done. I'm pricing this thing at a ridiculously low
$2000 firm, including all of the stuff I've accumulated for the
