FWIT, I didn't have access to the factory tool and opted for the professional 
machine shop with the big presses and such.  After a frightening amount of 
pressure measured in tons and tons was applied via stacked collets and such, 
I became the proud owner of a removed hub with a flange resembling an opening 
tulip.

I'm going to buy the tool.  There will be a next time.
