I recently pulled the rear axles on my ‘74 spit to replace wheel bearings and stub shaft bearings. After re-assembly, the axle on one side extends about 3/8" further from the hub than on the other side. Obviously, the re-assembly can not continue until I resolve the problem. I used factory spec bearings, and axles ends look OK. Any suggestions?? Anyone with similar experience?? Thanks!! MWK ________________________________________________________________________ |
