Just because VB sells one part for both doesn't mean the factory did the same!
The aftermarket spring manufacturer(s) may not have bothered to make two
almost-identical spring models.

TRF lists two distinct springs:

311539  For KV and 1500 Spits
308499  For MK II and III GT6

Interestingly, the GT6 version is cheaper.

No guarantee that TRF has either in stock :-(
