When I first start up and when the engine is warm but not worked hard, oil pressure is 40 idle, 60 at 2500. When I come off the highway after 15 minutes of 3500 rpm in 4th, the pressure drops to about 15 or 20 at idle and goes up to about 40 or 50 when at 2500 rpm and above. I wondered if the synthetic would give me a more consistent viscosity. Also, are there any problems switching from a modern premium regular oil? Your thoughts, Steve |
