Hi Joe and Patrick
I think you have this list slightly wrong Joe, I think it should read like
this

1. Rear alternator ear
2. large bracket mounted to the block
3. Front engine plate
4. Long Spacer
5. Front alternator ear.

Be careful not to break the rear alternator ear when you tighten the bolt,
you need to make sure the sleeve fitted in the ear slides forward as you
tighten the bolt, it should move with little more resistance than a new
locknut being wound onto a thread.
