Dear Gurus of all that is Triumph,
I have a stock October 70 Mk IV engine. Timing supposed to be set to 2 ATDC.
I have swapped in the distributor and dual SU's from a 68 MK III timing
supposed to be 6 BTDC (if my memory seves).
Sooo the question is this:
Do I set it to 2 ATDC because timing is based on the camshaft????
OR
Do I set it to 6 BTDC because timing is based on the distributor and its
advance curve?
Inquiring minds want to know.
