door trim

Hello,

Does anyone know of a source for the vinyl trimming on the very top of the
door?  Mine looks to be a direct glue on, with the top under the edge of the
inner waist seal.

If I take it off prior to painting, can I simply go get some black vinyl and
glue it back on as a new piece or is there something I'm missing?
