Hi Tim
The Heralds had a link in the front which could be moved forwards and
backwards using a bar that spanned from the suspension turret to the hinge.
If the spit is the same try the following, this bar had a long hex nut in
the middle with two lock nuts, one with a left hand thread and one with a
right hand thread, slacken these and twist the central long hex one way or
the other to move the bonnet forwards or backwards.
