Laura, I'm sorry but I'm not trying to slam people with a legitimate reason
to drive alone. It's the people who go out & buy a gas hog for no other
reason than "it's the trendy thing to do," & then complain about the cost of
cruising around in it that I have a problem with. However, when one suggests
that they might be able to cut down on their operating costs by going with
someone to the office, and they don't want to because it might take 10 more
minutes out of their day, their argument seems to lose a bit of it's steam.
I personally would prefer to drive alone. But, do to the fact that I go
(fairly) near a coworkers home on the way to the office, why not stop & give
him a lift?
